Established in 2000, ACOSVO (Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations) is a unique forum for Chief Officers and Senior Managers in the Third Sector in Scotland which promotes excellence in leadership and management.  We are member-led in our management through our board; and in our practice through ongoing dialogue with our members.

ACOSVO has an exclusive focus on leaders within the Third Sector and offers an environment where leaders can network and connect with other leaders to share and learn from experience and share challenges and good practice.  With around 300 members across Scotland, we promote excellent leadership for Scotland's third sector by focussing on supporting both current and emerging leaders.

Do You Have Experience of Working in Collaboration or Partnership?
Then Help ACOSVO Develop an Open Source Knowledge Bank

The Big Lottery Fund have awarded ACOSVO a grant to research, review and analyse third/public sector, third/private sector, collaborations/partnerships to determine what information, advice, evidence and support is available and where it is stored.  The project is being overseen by Lucy Stewart, who is looking to reach out to third, public and private sector organisations for their experiences of working in collaboration/partnership.  As well as testimonials ACOSVO are hoping to gather tools, reference material, best practice and tangible evidence of experiences. The information gathered will be the foundation of a Knowledge Bank - an open resource for ACOSVO members highlighting case studies, best practice and lessons learned for all to access to support effective collaboration and partnership work in future.

If you have experience of working in collaboration and/or partnership and are happy to be interviewed and share your experiences to help develop this work, please help ACOSVO by filling out a short survey:
