Planning For Your Future

Delivered by Age Scotland, this in-person workshop will give you the time and the tools to focus on yourself and your future.

Many people leave work with no plan in place and as a result discover that they simply weren't ready for this huge change in lifestyle. The workshop will cover topics such as the emotional journey you will go through, finances (making the most of your money, understanding pensions, tax, savings and investments), wellbeing (keeping active, building healthy habits, and looking after your mental wellbeing), and much more!

Taking Stock to Plan Your Future Steps

Attend an unmissable online session with Chartered Coaching Psychologist, Christine Hamilton. This will provide an opportunity to consider what transitioning means for you. It will also provide an introduction to the psychological transition individuals face as they near retirement or seek a different role.

1:1 Pro-Bono Coaching

Following on from the online session, Christine will provide a 1:1 coaching session.

Christine will use reflection tools to help individual’s open up their personal “Map of Meaning” and consider what they want for themselves. This could be similar to previous phases of their lives or contain some significant differences. This might include; looking at what our past tells us we might want/not want in our future; retirement research in terms of restraining and propelling forces; the change process.

Please contact services@acosvo.org.uk if you wish to arrange this.

“I feel I have gained more clarity on the areas of my job I enjoy and am good at. When I have faced challenges, Christine has helped find a constructive and supportive way through and this has helped me stay calm through stressful times. She is a great listener and is able to frame your thoughts into something more constructive. Christine has a fantastic way of summarising and giving focus to thoughts and ideas and help frame a manageable plan for achieving goals.”
