Why a jobs board?

On May 15th 2019 between 1300-1500 we are offering ACOSVO members and Chair’s network affiliates exclusive FREE 1-2-1 telephone surgeries with experts.  These surgeries are confidential allowing you to gain expert advice on the personal and organisational issues facing you and your organisation.

Meet the Experts:

For the first time since ACEVO, alongside partners CAF, ACOSVO & CO3, launched its annual Pay and Equalities Survey, CEOs were asked how many extra hours they typically worked per week. The survey found that CEOs work on average 10 additional hours each week, equivalent to almost one and a half days over the standard five. This means that this year, the average charity CEO will spend three months working for no pay.

ACOSVO have now moved.

ACOSVO have been partnering with Women in Banking & Finance (WIBF), a membership organisation, to deliver a series of Women on Boards event.

The third and final event of the series, planned for March 4th, 17:30 - 20:00, exact details TBC, is focused on bringing potential Trustees from the WIBF membership together with third sector organisations who are seeking to recruit Trustees with these types of skills

In January 2019 ACOSVO will be packing up their boxes and banners here in Thorn House and moving the whole 0.5 miles to our shared new office space... alongside ACOSVO members: Relationships Scotland, Scottish Mediation, & HIV Scotland.

There may be a slight disruption to emails and phones over this period but we are really looking forward to this chapter of ACOSVO and thank you for bearing with us.

We had a brilliant day at our 2018 annual conference through in Glasgow on November 1st. We can't thank our Chairs, speakers, table & workshop leads, and of course members & delegates enough for coming along and making the day so great.

Evidence shows that encouraging (and leading) an active lifestyle in the workplace leads to a happier, more productive workforce, so where better to start than the leader?

Ok, maybe not by balloon... but in 2019 ACOSVO Chief Executive, Pat Armstrong OBE will be hitting the road to ensure ACOSVO is meeting the needs of all of its members, not just those across the central belt. We are going to shake up the way we organise our local network meetings and start to plan our visits according to member requests.
