We Are Moving!

Last year brought lots of changes to the way we work, but in amongst the challenges we all faced, it also gave us an opportunity to step back and ask new, important questions about the future of work and what silver linings and lessons we might take from covid going forward.

An opportunity has arisen to move to a new home in Ocean Terminal, Leith. The idea for this new space is to provide a modern, flexible working environment and meeting hub for not only our small team but also longer term, a place where members and partners can come together for peer support and networking, events and meetings, and ultimately contribute to our vision of excellent voluntary sector leadership in Scotland.

In all of this we are trying to be as environmentally sustainable and cost effective as possible, avoiding new wherever possible and recycling and reusing.  We also know that many businesses and organisations are currently downsizing and keen to offer support either in the form of strategic volunteering or through donating unneeded furniture and/or equipment. So, if you think you can help, have a boardroom or coffee table gathering dusk, we'd be delighted to hear from you!

We also would be grateful for any help that big corporate businesses could offer. If you have experts on your team in health and safety, office design, IT set up or new ways of working, we’d love to have you on board!

Please get in touch with Agni Grabowska at agni.grabowska@acosvo.org.uk in the first instance. Thank you for your support, we are really looking forward to the future of ACOSVO.
