Third Sector Chief Officer & Senior Staff 'Pay and Equalities Survey': Your Contribution is Vital

It is that time of year again and we really need as many Scottish third sector Chief Executives and senior staff to contribute to the best known UK third sector leader ‘Pay and Equalities Survey’. 

Last year your contribution allowed us to create a specific Executive Summary for Scotland. We hope with enough Scottish responses we will be able to generate this again. Complete the survey

This survey, in partnership with ACEVO, CO3 and CAF, helps the sector, both in UK and Scotland, better understand pay and diversity at senior levels.  At a time of increased scrutiny and transparency around Chief Officer pay, we hope this survey will go some way to demystifying pay levels and can contribute to a better understanding of the demands on a Chief Officer within the third sector.  Media focus on this subject has often been unhelpful, contributing to a lack of understanding of why paying third sector executives a competitive salary is so important. Increased openness about salaries in the sector across UK and within Scotland can only be a good thing for enhancing perceptions in the long-term.
