July 2021

ACOSVO, in partnership with CyberScotland and supported by Scottish Government, are seeking to better understand and support how voluntary sector organisations are managing the risks of operating in a digital world.

Back in 2017, ACOSVO ran a succession planning survey that showed over 50% of the sector’s leaders were planning to retire in the following 5 years.

A lot has changed since then, and with a more recent survey highlighting that almost half of charity leaders are considering leaving their roles due to burnout, ACOSVO are looking to understand more about how the sector’s leadership might be changing post pandemic.

In July 2021 ACOSVO are packing up their boxes at York Place and moving to a new home in Ocean Terminal, Leith. The idea for this new space is to provide a modern, flexible working environment and meeting hub; not only our small team but also longer term, where members and partners can come together for peer support, events and meetings, and ultimately contribute to our vision of excellent voluntary sector leadership in Scotland.
