Description
Designed specifically for Chief Officers who have been in their role for over 5 years.
- Considering ‘wicked problems’ ,
- Introduction to systemic thinking,
- Considering and refreshing your role
An opportunity for more experienced Chief Officers to explore some ‘new’ approaches to ‘old’ problems. Using the concept of ‘wicked problems’ (as described by Keith Grint) and systemic thinking to generate new perspectives which can inform and inspire the way in which we take up our roles.
This half day event will be followed by 2 meetings in which the group will use the Action Learning Set method to continue working on the issues they have identified, with the support of their peers.
Cost: £40 for Members and £50 for Non Members
Additional Action Learning Sets – Cost £30 per session - 12th May 10-12, 16th June 10-12

Cancellations
All cancellations must be received in writing, charges are as follow:
More than 2 weeks: full refund
2 weeks : 50% refund
Less than 2 weeks: no refund
Occasionally, if there are insufficient bookings on a particular event we may have to cancel it. In these circumstances we will advise you approximately one week prior to the date on which the event was due to take place.
