A short event which looks at a practical and workable management theory  to enable organisations to look with a fresh view at their budgeting process, other planning processes, and organisational structure.  Research has shown that the more Beyond-Budgeting principles an organisation implements, the better it performs.

Penelope Blackwell, Director of Fundraising at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, will be leading the event to explore the implications of “Beyond Budgeting” for the sector, based on her recent University of Edinburgh MBA dissertation.  Penelope will use a case study which highlights the positive experience of SightSavers International in implementing Beyond Budgeting, and the current management theories which it brings together.
